Before You Buy a Breguet 5395 Replica
A Breguet 5395 replica sells for $200 to $800. Genuine Breguet 5395 watches cost $15,000 or more. The price gap attracts buyers. But not every replica is equal. Check the seller first. Ask for real photos with a timestamp. Request a video of the watch running. Pay with a credit card or PayPal. Avoid wire transfers and cryptocurrency.
Movement and Case
Most Breguet 5395 replicas use a Japanese Miyota movement or a Chinese clone. A few use a Swiss ETA clone. Ask the seller for the movement type. A genuine Breguet 5395 has a hand-wound movement. The case is 18k gold. Replicas use gold plating or stainless steel. Gold plating wears off in 6 to 12 months. Stainless steel feels lighter than gold. Check the caseback engraving. Genuine engravings are deep and crisp. Replica engravings look shallow or blurry.
